DON GIOVANNI IN CARNE E LEGNO by TAP

Sunday, 22th October 2011, 5 pm
Bravium Teatre
Duration: 70 minutes

Don Giovanni in carne e legno tells the disturbing and exciting story of Don Giovanni’s resurrection, who becomes an excellent source of controversy and sudden twists. This version of Don Giovanni is the result of an intense research process to explore the possibilities of working with wood (puppets, Neapolitan guarattelle in particular) and flesh (actors and actresses). Such research produced new relational codes and creative opportunities.

The outcome is a show which combines the cheek of puppets, the intelligence of masks and the spirit of popular theater, with the ultimate purpose of making the incredible become more credible.
