La Carta is a 1992 classic comedy by Paolo Nani which features a recreation of the same story in 15 completely different ways.A man walks in, has something to drink, he spits it out because he cannot quite tell what it is. He writes a letter and later discovers that the fountain pen has run out of ink. He walks off in anger. This scene is told in a “normal” way, as a flashback, in awe, with no hands, using terror codes, circus codes, magic codes, in a drunken state, as a western, as a silent film... But all versions have two things in common: not a single words is spoken and the outcome is always very amusing.
